This is after he reportedly called Wiper Democratic Movement party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, a coward, after he failed to show up for the swearing-in of Raila Odinga on January 30.

During ODM's National Governing Council Meeting (NGC) in Nairobi on Friday, Kalonzo protested utterances by some ODM leaders and warned that calling him a coward could easily split the NASA coalition.

On Saturday, Enock Wambua, Kitui senator criticised Joho saying he should respect Kalonzo and other Nasa coalition principals.

"I can not stand up and insult Raila Odinga (ODM party leader). We need to respect our leaders. Kalonzo should be respected," he said.

Wambua who was elected on a Wiper ticket, warned that:

"As a party we won’t tolerate any further abuses from leaders elected under the Nasa coalition."

Speaking during a burial ceremony in Mwingi, the lawmaker warned that using abusive language on NASA principals should be the last thing leaders should do.

"I personally won’t even attempt doing that,” Wambua told the press.

He further said that Wiper could seek coalition with other political parties if ODM fails to show it respect.

“In case they think we are stuck in Nasa, let our brothers in ODM know that as Wiper party, we have several options and we are ready to pursue any when necessary. Let them tread carefully."

Kalonzo had also cautioned ODM against disrespecting him.
