Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has welcomed the formation of the National Super Alliance (NASA) that seeks to unite all Opposition players ahead of the next general elections.
In a post published on his official Facebook page shortly after meeting the Amani National Congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi on Tuesday, Joho further urged the Amani leader to consolidate the Luhya vote.
"Today I had a fruitful meeting with my brother and friend Hon Musalia Mudavadi. We had the opportunity to discuss several national issues and the unity of our coalition going into the next general election," he said.
"I greatly appreciate his efforts to reach out to all sections of the country and further encourage him to ensure that no section of the Mulembe nation is left behind," he added.
The ODM Deputy Party leader also noted that the unity of all Kenyans is pivotal for a peaceful electoral process ahead of the next polls.
