Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has accused the Jubilee administration of looting what belongs to the common mwananchi.
Speaking at the Bomas of Kenya during the opposition’s unity rally, Joho said he is fed up with the increased cases of corruption and other malpractices witnessed in the current leadership.
“Nimechoka kuibiwa na serikali ya Jubilee hadi mchana. Mwizi ni mwizi na hana jina lingine (I’m tired of being robbed by the Jubilee administration. A thief is a thief),” he said, as quoted by The Star.
The governor said the journey to deliver Kenyans from bad leadership has begun and is irreversible.
"The journey to deliver the citizens of this great republic from bad leadership began today (Wednesday, January 11) at Bomas of Kenya, Nairobi," he said.
He told opposition supporters to register as voters and make sure the Jubilee administration is sent home after the polls.
"I encourage all Kenyans of voting age to ensure they have a voters cards. Mass Voter Registration begins on January 16, until February 15, 2017. Ensure you get your voters card so that you exercise this noble right to choose your destiny," he added.
