Nyali lawmaker Hezron Awiti has claimed that Mombasa governor Hassan Joho will be the worst president if he makes it to State House in 2022.
According to Awiti, Joho has failed to manage Mombasa County, and that makes him unfit to hold the country's top job.
"How can you entrust a whole country in the hands of someone who has miserably failed in handling a single county,if that is not madness then I lack a better way of describing it," said Awiti.
Awiti further stated that he has no personal differences with Joho, but they only differ on matters involving the management of Mombasa County.
"We have given him five years but the only thing he has achieved is branding himself as 001,what we are wondering is the 001 from behind because Mombasa County only leads in corruption and heightening the cost of living," said Awiti.
The lawmaker expressed confidence that he will defeat Joho in the next general election.
"My only wish for the people of Mombasa County is a full stomach and stable income. If this can be realized then we would have solved the issues of insecurity,unemployment and our sons and daughters joining terror groups and using drugs.
The MP was speaking on Wednesday afternoon at his main office in Mombasa.
