Saedo who is a cousin to Governor Ali Hassan Joho, criticised the Jubilee government, saying it was time to start respecting court orders, citing Miguna's case.

"I stand with Dr Miguna Miguna and condemn in the strongest terms possible the harassment he is currently undergoing," Saedo said on Tuesday.

Miguna Miguna was on Monday evening bundled into an Emirates Flight EK722 to Dubai, back to Canada.A bunch of security officers bungled the self-proclaimed NRM general into the plane, tearing his suit as he screamed, protesting and refusing to take a seat.

Miguna protested the deportation while on the plane, saying immigration officials illegally bundled him to the plane.

He would be seen in the plane that had over 400 passengers explaining to the Emirates Airline officials that he had no passport to enable him fly out of the country.

The plane had not left the airport during all this time.

"I'm not going! I'm not going! I'm not boarding! I'm not boarding because I don't have a passport! The captain cannot fly! You cannot take me away from my own country! Kill me I'm not afraid of your gun! I'm not going to Dubai," protested Miguna, at around 11pm.

"Look at how they've torn my clothes," he added.

Moments later, doors of the plane were closed and he was not on the flight, as reported live by Jeff Koinange who was on-board to Germany.

"Let us strive to be a nation where court orders are obeyed and the rule of law upheld," concluded Saedo.
