Mombasa Deputy Governor Dr William Kingi has urged NASA top leaders to remain united and firm as they steer their electoral reforms agenda forward.Speaking to journalists in Mombasa on Monday, Kingi said Kenyans have hope in NASA’s reforms agenda. He said that the country will not move forward and realise its development agenda unless the issue of electoral injustices is addressed.“Our appeal is to NASA top leaders to remain united and fight for the rights of Kenyans that have been violated under the Jubilee regime,” he said. The Deputy Governor asked NASA top leaders to be wary of Jubilee’s plan to frustrate and scuttle their unity. He claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government is working out to weaken the opposition and water down the reforms agenda.Kingi said that NASA’s push for electoral justice is justifiable and no one can stop it.He asked the Jubilee government to prepare for Raila’s leadership as the duly elected people’s president.NASA has intensified its push for reforms with plans on course to swear in Raila and Kalonzo Musyoka as the peoples’ president and deputy president respectively. The opposition plans to swear in the two on January 30 at Uhuru Park in Nairobi.Raila and Kalonzo have said they are not afraid of being sworn in and that they are ready to die for the sake of the country’s reforms agenda. Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Mombasa County that you want Hivisasa to cover?
