Opposition brigade under the stewardship of Raila Odinga was launching its campaigns ahead of August polls in a region perceived to be its traditional backyard.

But momentarily, Odinga had to cut short his speech when the flamboyant county boss made a late entry to the venue as enthusiast supporters yelled his name at the top of their breath.

“You have been asking me about the whereabouts of Joho. He is now in the house and the NASA team is complete in Kakamega,”Odinga said.

And upon his invitation, the defiant Joho did not hesitate to take a jibe on Jubilee government over its track record in the country.

“Thieves cannot change and that is what we have seen for over years. They are only interested in personal attacks yet they cannot deliver on promises they gave to us,” he said.

Last week, the ODM deputy leader was barred from attending President Uhuru Kenyatta’s function in Mombasa during commissioning of SGR project due to his personal feud with the head of state.
