The ODM Deputy Leader said this on Sunday in Homa Bay, when he addressed a charged crowd.

He urged the crowd to ensure they remain vigil before and after the elections, to ensure all goes as planned.

"...it is very important that we understand each other here...the election cannot be rigged again," he said.

The opposition, led by Raila Odinga, fondly referred to by his supporters as ‘Baba’ will face off with Uhuru Kenyatta in the August polls.

"...nimeambia Millie Odhiambo nikitoka hapa, nyinyi ndiyo mtakuwa foot soldiers wa Baba.. mtuambie ground iko sawa (I have told Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo that when I leave, you are the ones who will be Raila's foot soldiers...Tell us everything is alright)," Joho said.

"Tunataka Baba aende huko mahali pengine atafute kura. Aende Rift-valley na hata huko Mombasa (We want Baba to hunt for votes in other areas. He should go to Rift Valley and even Mombasa)."

The outspoken county boss said that after voting, they will sleep, eat, bathe and drink at the polling station, to ensure no vote is stolen.

The Governor promised that once the opposition assumes power, the cost of living will go down.
