Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has asked Deputy President William Ruto to prepare himself for a titanic battle in the 2022 presidential election.The county boss said he will give Ruto a run for his money in the next general election.The ODM deputy party leader who has declared interest in the country’s top seat said he is not afraid of Jubilee.Governor Joho stated that he will confront Uhuru's administration head-on if it dares to frustrate his bid or leadership as governor.Joho said he has what it takes to assume the top office, adding that power is not a preserve of two communities."We are waiting for him (DP Ruto) in 2022 so that we can deal with him squarely and show Jubilee that power belongs to all Kenyans," said Joho on Tuesday on the sidelines of NASA's memorial rally at Kibra.Joho asked NASA supporters to get energised and fight Jubilee’s alleged dictatorship rule.The outspoken governor accused Uhuru's government of allegedly undermined the constitution by treating certain communities as strangers in their own country.He said Uhuru's swearing-in will not scare the opposition in its push for reforms."We will fight to liberate Kenyans and ensure that the rule of law is upheld," added Joho.NASA has maintained that it does not recognise Uhuru's presidency.
