Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has been unleashing popular music artists in his rallies to woo voters.

During one of his campaigns on Sunday, July 23, Joho surprised his supporters after inviting Tanzanian finest singer Ali Kiba.

The Aje hitmaker became one of the centers of attraction during the rally.

The talented singer charmed both the old and young with his trade songs before the county boss took stage to outline the plans he has for the people of this region.

In another rally, Joho’s team was joined by Kenyan singer Willy Paul alias Poze. Willy, who has hit airwaves because of hits such as Digrii, pulled a huge crowd to the rally.

Last year, the county boss invited American artist Chris Brown and Nigerian Singer Wizkid who thrilled the residents as well as non residents with their electric performance.

In the meantime, the governor has pledged to create more jobs for the youths if he is re-elected.

During his tenure, the governor, a close ally of NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga, unveiled a state of art stadium at Uwanja wa Mbuzi, which made him win hearts of many talented football lovers.

The county boss has also pledged to address education, garbage and infrastructure if he retains his post. The ODM Deputy Leader will square it out with Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan (Wiper), Businessman Suleiman Shahbal and Nyali MP Hezron Awiti.
