Photo/ the-star.co.keOrange Democratic Movement( ODM) leaders have revealed their plans to hold another major rally in Mpeketoni, Lamu, despite facing hostility during their last tour in the region.The political outfit has, however not revealed the date of the rally, the Star reports.Lamu ODM pointman Rishad Amana on Tuesday told the daily that Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho will lead his team back to the region to prove that they are not scared of anyone as they popularize the party ahead of the next general poll.He also said the party leaders are not interested in vengeance.“We will go back to Mpeketoni and enter the area just like any other Kenyan is allowed to go to any place in Kenya. We will seek a permit from the police as is the procedure,” he said.The MP also said that ODM leaders have a right to campaign in any part of the nation including Mpeketoni, adding that their main mission is to weaken the growing support base of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the region, whom he accused of peddling lies. “We will be talking about our policies and laying bare the Jubilee lies that have been peddled,” Amana said.
