The petition by Hassan Omar was dismissed, with Joho leaving the below message to all who showed him solidarity.

"I wish to express my gratitude to all supporters of they truth that came to show solidarity with us today.

I wish to particularly thank my Deputy Dr. William Kingi, Members of Parliament Moitalel Ole Kenta, Mishi Mboko, Esther Passaris and Ali Mbogo, NASA CEO Norman Magaya, Nairobi peoples Senator Edwin Sifuna, Hon. Rashid Bedzimba and many others that took time to be with us today.

To my ODM brothers and sisters, as we head into the NGC, it is time to consider deeply the future of our party. ODM has the interests of the people of Kenya at heart. It is time to revitalize and build our great party into the vehicle for leadership and change that this country desperately needs today. We will forever remain committed to Electoral Justice.

As we speak, this country has not held a credible process to choose a leader for the next five years. We strongly stand by our leader Rt Hon Raila Odinga as we continue to pursue this. It is the issue of our generation. To the international community, we remain committed to constructive engagement.

However, this engagement MUST acknowledge the difficulties of our electoral process. An injustice has occurred. We cannot sweep the truth under the carpet.

The forced railing of cargo on the SGR is an issue of grave concern. You cannot compel private business to utilize government services. A government should not compete for business with her people. We shall be pursuing remedies for this further.

Finally, to the people of Kenya, aluta continua. We shall complete this journey for a better future soon."
