Just days after declaring that he is ready to work with Cord leader Raila Odinga on 2017 elections, Musalia Mudavadi's ANC party has urged the Cord principals Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka to join him at ANC and work on how to field a single presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections.

According to the party's national chairman Kelvin Lunani, the Cord leaders should join the former Deputy Prime Minister at ANC and try to strike a deal on whom to field by the alliance.

Lunani who was speaking during a fundraiser in Butula said the party embraces an open-door policy and that everyone was welcome to the fold.

He further extended an olive branch to the Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba and his Funyula counterpart Paul Otuoma saying that the party is big enough and is ready to accommodate everyone who is willing to join.

This comes at a time when there is increased speculation on whether the former Prime Minster Raila Odinga is planning to bring Mudavadi to ODM with a view to forming a political alliance in readiness for next year's election.
