Churches have been challenged to put aside their differences by coming together in aid of preaching peace among Kenyans ahead of general elections.

According to Pastor Ogentoto Ronald of Matutu PAG church in Gesima ward, it is only the churches which can bring the healing of the nation.

He has advocated for all churches to come together regardless of their denomination and talk in one voice, which will help the country in promoting peace ahead of the next general elections.

“It is only the church through its followers which can transform this nation, by preaching peace among Kenyans, hence I urge all denominations to come together by putting aside their differences so that we can pray for the healing of this nation,” said Ogentoto.

He added that the effort of the Bishops urging CORD coalition to stop demos should be supported by other denominations so that they can talk in one voice.

“We have been seeing the effect of demonstrations, so I advise other denominations to join hands with them so that we can move this nation its destiny,“ added Ogentoto

“Majority of Kenyans are christians, yet we have many wrong things happening, we need to ask ourselves where we went wrong so that we can change our nation towards its destiny,” added Ogentoto
