Deputy President William Ruto has told Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto to either join Jubilee or risk losing his seat in the 2017 General Elections.
Speaking in Bomet over the weekend, Ruto told the Governor that he will join political oblivion if he continues identifying himself with his Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party.
"We are busy forming one party and he is busy forming his own party. If you find him, tell him that this is a Jubilee zone and the next Bomet Governor shall be from Jubilee," Ruto said in a rally in Bomet.
But in a quick rejoinder, the defiant Bomet Governor told off the Deputy President terming him a 'dictator who should not lead the country'.
“I cannot sit back and watch as dictatorship is being entrenched by leaders who have a top-down approach on issues,” the Bomet Governor said.
He added that he will be defending his seat under his newly formed Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party.
