Kisii county Governor James Ongwae has called upon residents to turn out in large numbers and register as voters as the exercise kicks off on Monday 16th.
Ongwae who is seeking reelection in the coming general election said that it is the choice of residents to elect visionary leaders who can transform the county through development.
The county Boss, who was speaking on Friday at Nyasiongo during the burial of Ronald Gichana, also challenged residents to join NASA.
According to Ongwae its only NASA which will save Kenyans from the shackles of corruption and other challenges affecting the economy of the county
“I would like to urge residents to join NASA so that we can elect leaders who can transform this nation, we are tired of promises which have never been fulfilled,” said Ongwae.
Ongwae faulted Jubilee administration by saying that the county has never benefited from the government.
“ We need to focus well on which side we should vote for in the coming general election since we want development, there are many roads which have been launched within Kisii county by the national Government but never constructed, we need to vote in visionary leaders,” he said.
