President Uhuru Kenyatta has been urged to join the ‘rest’ of Kenyans in the highly anticipated National Super Alliance (NASA) to show his commitment in solving economic problems.
The alliance, mainly spearheaded by opposition leaders, is understatedly in the making and could be launched in a few months’ time.
On Monday, Bomet governor Isaac Rutto, said the president would rescue his reputation by joining the National Super Alliance, which will give chance for dialogue.
“The president should consider joining NASA because all communities will be brought together. We are discussing the common problems this country is facing,” he told KTN news.
“The alliance will focus on national dialogue which we have been pushing for. This is the prime opportunity for the country to discuss its affairs to foster integration,” he added.
Rutto, who has been at loggerheads with Jubilee government, said his Chama Cha Mashinani was in talks with other opposition parties in the process of crafting the alliance.
