Jomvu MP Badi Twalib has handed over two classrooms funded by CHAI Trading Ltd through their corporate social responsibility, at Miritini Complex High School to facilitate teaching and learning. 

Flanked by several leaders including education stakeholders, the lawmaker said the key to unlocking the door to a prosperous future is embedded in the provision of quality education.

He also inspected the ongoing construction of a state of the art social hall which will serve the communities living within.

"This school has been funded by Jomvu CDF from the first stone up to where it is and I will keep on pumping more funds to ensure the school becomes the best in the constituency," Badi said on Saturday.

The handover followed commissioning of a four-years classrooms project at the school mid this month by the MP.

He laid a foundation stone for construction of two classrooms at the school a cost of Sh2 million for the project through Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

"Now I can stand and smile to see the fruits of our development through provision of quality education in our schools," he said on January 16.

Through NG-CDF Badi indicated his constituency had pumped Sh4 million for construction of 4 classroom at the same school in financial year 2014/2015 and 2016/2017.
