Jomvu MP Badi Twalib has called on NASA top leaders to remain united in the push for electoral reforms and justice in the country.
Speaking to journalists at the Mombasa Law Courts on Friday, Twalib said that the push for reforms can only be realized if NASA leaders work together and in unity.
He asked NASA politicians to stop issuing statements and ultimatums that could pose threats to the coalition agenda.
The ODM lawmaker said that NASA top principals need each other to scale up the reforms agenda.
“Our prayer is that NASA leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula will remain together and fulfill the reforms agenda promise they made to Kenyans,” he said.
Twalib said unless serious reforms are carried out, the country will never achieve equality, fairness and credibility in elections.
He asked Kenyans to demand reforms and rule of law, adding that the Jubilee administration is allegedly out to muzzle the rights of the citizens.
The lawmaker said that Mombasa and coast region will remain united and committed to NASA agenda.
He said that the Coast region is a victim of marginalization, adding that they will not give up pursuing their rights and recognition.
There have been claims that the National Super Alliance is experiencing cracks that are threatening its unity.
NASA leaders have, however, dismissed such claims terming them a creation of the media.
The coalition top leaders maintain that they are united and committed to the electoral reforms agenda.
On Friday, the coalition top leader’s held a consultative meeting to discuss on current political affairs the country.
The leaders who met at Raila Odinga’s Capitol Hill office also discussed key internal issues in NASA.
