Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Nkaissery may have passed on but his legend still lives more so understanding the tough security chief antics behind the scene from administrative responsibilities.
According to those close to the fallen Major General, Nkaissery had a big heart for the needy and could not hesitate to help any.
Nkaissery loved his beer with Tusker his favorite brand, the CS will have at most three brown bottles at his regular joint, Bomas of Kenya Lounge while watching BBC television before going home.
“Whenever he came, he would sit at the public counter, order drinks and even offer to pay for the other patrons. However, things changed the moment he was appointed to the Cabinet,” the source said.
