Known for his eloquence and masterly of slang popularly known as 'Sheng', Joshua Kutuny's ability to speak for voiceless is news to those within political cycles.
On Satuday, Kutuny's bold move to question President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration over arbitrary arrests of dissenting voices may have rekindled memories of his time in ODM.
"It is clear that Kenyans will only remember you for respecting the rule of law. Rift Valley is keenly watching you," he fired at Uhuru over controversial arrest of Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter.
But in a similar scenario, Kutuny, who was elected to represent Cherangany constituency in 2007 through ODM, fired to the n his boss Raila Odinga over alleged mistreatment of William Ruto.
"I am not afraid of Mzee Raila and he is at liberty to suspend me from ODM. We shall send him to Bondo," he said moment to 2013 polls.
Later, he would lose to Boston Marathon winner Wesley Korir before being appointed as Uhuru's political adviser, a job he took until his comeback to parliament in 2017 on Jubilee.
At the time Kenya was facing serious political crisis after August 8th polls, a bold Kutuny came out and condemned the manner in which the government was handling Raila Odinga.
"Raila means well for this nation and I can confirm that. The government should instead given him security," he openly contradicted Jubilee party's stand.
His latest duel with Uhuru could mark yet another avenue for fierce internal rebellion within the Jubilee party for the next five years.
