Former Kass FM presenter Joshua Arap Sang has reaffirmed his candidature for Trans Nzoia County gubernatorial post.
Speaking on Sunday in Uasin Gishu after attending the Kass Marathon 10th edition, Sang said he is best suited for governorship.
Sang pledged to support local talent, especially athletics.
“I want to tap the rich athletic talent and high potential of agriculture in Trans Nzoia County, to turn around the economy of the region,” he said.
He is set to battle it out with incumbent Governor Patrick Khaemba on a Jubilee Party ticket.
Sang was acquitted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) of crimes against humanity charges, alongside Deputy President William Ruto over the 2007/2008 post-election violence.
