(Photo/Cyprian Muthoka)Matungulu Member of National Assembly Stephen Mutinda Mule has rolled out over 3000 bursaries to interested residents within the area.A total of 2500 students and pupils from humble backgrounds will benefit from the bursaries at the start of the 2018 year.This was revealed by Mule when he issued bursary forms to Matungulu residents in order for them to fill.Mule urged interested residents to be on the fore front in promotion of education in order to curb the high levels of illiteracy among residents in the area."It is high time we need to come together and support students from humble backgrounds pursue their education. This is the third time we are issuing bursaries to residents," said Mule.He further stressed on the importance of alleviating illiteracy saying that it will help in creation of job opportunities.Residents who wish to fill the bursaries for their pupils and students have been given until Saturday to submit the filled forms.
