Pump prices for super petrol, diesel and kerosene will see significant price drops throughout Kenya from today, September 15, 2016.

This follows the latest monthly price review by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

The new prices will be in effect till 14th October 2016 when the next monthly review will be conducted in accordance with the Energy (Petroleum Pricing) Regulations, 2010.

Super Petrol decreases by Sh3.74 per litre, Diesel decreases by Sh2.05 per litre while Kerosene decreases by Sh3.38 per litre.

The average landed cost of imported Super Petrol decreased by 8.86% from US$ 521.72 per ton in July 2016 to US$ 475.48 per ton in August 2016.

Diesel decreased by 5.95% from US$ 469.10 per ton to US$ 441.19 per ton and Kerosene decreased by 8.52% from US$ 493.86 per ton to US$ 451.77 per ton.
