The more than 300 children had some of their clothes cleaned, rooms tidied up as well as receiving rides around the school compound.

Speaking at the school hall, the school choirmaster Patrick Wainaina who has helped the kids record a gospel album with nine songs thanked the church and encouraged more well-wishers to visit and offer any support to the children.

"We are very glad that the church visited us today and helped us in cleaning the school compound and gave the children some good company. They as well brought gifts and some other school materials required by the kids," Wainaina said.

Wainaina also encouraged members of the public to buy the music CD composed by the Joytown Special Choir kids which he said the proceeds go towards meeting the kids' daily expenses at school.

"Let us support them by buying their music which is good and inspirational. It is not just buying music because it is from physically challenged kids but it is also going to bless you," he said.
