President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party has launched fresh attacks on Justice George Odunga a day after attacking Chief Justice David Maraga.

On Sunday, Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto accused the judiciary of siding with the National Super Alliance team to delay the August 8 polls days after the High court cancelled the printing of presidential ballot papers by Al Ghurair firm.

The ruling came after the opposition team claimed the directors of the Dubai based firm have ties with President Kenyatta.

Jubilee party is now accusing two judges of having conflict of interest in the ruling. The party has alleged Justice William Ouko and Justice Odunga are relatives of key Opposition leaders.

According to Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju, the wife of Justice Odunga is Senator James Orengo's niece while Justice Ouko is a relative to Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga's wife Ida Odinga.

“We are shocked and concerned that some judges handling the cases did not declare conflict of interest. We respect the Judiciary but we have a right to critique them,” Tuju said on Monday.

Judge Odunga was among the three judge bench who cancelled the printing of presidential ballot papers and directed IEBC to re-advertise the tender.
