This year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education candidates have expressed their joy after completing the final exams.

The jovial pupils expressed their happiness in different ways.

Some thanked God by singing while others prayed before leaving their primary schools.

Parents too were happy with their children and this was witnessed when they came in large numbers to pick their children from school.

When the children asked what they will be up to after the exams, they had different ideas and advise to give to other candidates.

Mary Awino from Ayany Primary School said she will ask her parents to enroll her for computer lessons at a cyber café in the area.

“I do not want to be idle, I want to enroll for computer classes so that I can be counted among digital children,” said the shy Awino.

Brian Moses also said he is planning to help his father by working as an attendant in his shop.

My father has been waking up very early to open the shop so as I go home, I will help him .I want him to rest,’’ said Brian.

His advise to fellow class eight leavers; “I would like to tell them to help their parents and always be prayerful. They should engage in any productive activities and avoid wasting time.”
