Jubilee government is poised to improve road infrastructure in Uasin Gishu County.Deputy President William Ruto said over 580 kilometers of road has been constructed."Currently we are constructing Rivatex-Simat-Kipkaren, Drys-Naiberi-Moiben roads in which 115 kilometers are already complete," he said in Eldoret, Monday."Eldoret-Kiplombe-Kabenes road will be commissioned by President Uhuru Kenyatta this week," he added. He however, urged contractors to act at speed and meet the required timeline. "We won't allow laxity when it comes to service delivery yet public funds have been provided.Anyone sleeping on the job will be shown door," noted the Deputy President.He reiterated once the roads are complete they will help farmers transport their produce and farm inputs.
