The Jubilee Alliance Party has officially opened it's office in Nyamira County barely days after the Cord principal Raila Odinga visited the region.
Addressing the press after the opening the offices at Tente area in Nyamira Township Ward, JAP Nyamira County chairman Walter Nyambati promised that party nominations will be free and fair.
"When the time comes for us to conduct our nominations, we will ensure that aspirants who will vie for different political seats in the county are free and fair to avoid complaints, and fall-outs" said Nyambati.
The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation chairman further urged residents to join the party in large numbers saying they had suffered in the Opposition for long without benefiting from government projects.
"If we want to enjoy goodies from the government, we need to join JAP because since the year 2007, we have been suffering silently in the Opposition," added Nyambati.
