Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome has reiterated that the Jubilee and Nasa coalition should have their own tallying centres for the August polls.
However, Wahome called on both political camps to desist from announcing their results saying that the move may lead to chaos after the elections are over.
"Jubilee and NASA can have their own tallying centres for the August polls. However, they should not announce any results as this will lead to chaos," said Wahome.
The legislator also questioned the management of the Madaraka Day celebrations in Nyeri where Nasa flag bearer Raila Odinga was snubbed by the officiators of the celebrations.
According to Wahome, such celebrations symbolise nationalism and giving Raila a chance to speak would have shown unity within the country.
She made the following remarks on NTV's AM live show on Monday.
"To snub Raila in Nyeri during the Madaraka day celebrations was wrong. Such days symbolise nationalism in the country and giving him a chance to speak would have shown the unity of the country ahead of August polls," added Wahome.
