Jubilee Party vice chairperson David Murathe confirmed on Monday that former suspended Energy Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir is the man that the party has appointed.

Chirchir served as a commissioner in the defunct Interim Independent Electoral Commission. He was also among a list of individuals who were told to step aside pending investigations on graft allegations in 2015.
