Jubilee party aspirants from Kisii County have vowed to work together despite their minor differences ahead of party primaries.

The party is set to hold nominations in March which have been defined as a major acid test for the young party.

Led by Senator Chris Obure, the aspirants vowed to support the winner of party nominations.

"We have decided to put our differences aside and work for the party. Our major aim is to win majority seats in Gusii," He said.

Obure added:"Elections are not a do or die event. There will be a winner and a loser so the people's choice ought to be respected."

Obure was speaking at Magenche on Monday during the homecoming party of his runningmate Albert Nyaundi.

The pair will challenge Kisii Governor James Ongwae in August elections.
