Kisii County Jubilee Party aspirants have been urged to accept nomination results if defeated for future transparency in leadership.
Area Deputy Governor Joash Maangi says the move will improve the popularity of the party towards August elections.
Addressing the press on Monday at Kisii Sports Club, Maangi said Jubilee Party is the party will embrace free and fair nominations.
“My appeal to all county Jubilee aspirants is to accept nominations results and support the winners who will win at grass root level,” said Maangi.
“Personally if I lose in the gubernatorial nominations, I will back up the winner. elections are not a do or die exercise. There is something more than that," he added.
Maangi will be battling for Jubilee ticket against experienced senator Chris Obure who ditched the ODM party at the eve of new year.
