Jubilee said that Cord leader, Raila Odinga must to take responsibility for the Monday demonstration outcomes which saw people get hurt and businesses looted.

Addressing the press on Tuesday, Jubilee coalition through the majority leader, Aden Duale, sharply criticised the opposition co-principals for mobilising poor Kenyans from the Kibera slums to take part in unwarranted demonstrations at the streets of Nairobi.

Duale clearly affirmed that Raila was among the government officials in the past government that took a vital role in the reconstitution of IEBC, then ECK, and its commissioners. The majority leader further explained that the opposition's demands in ousting the IEBC chair, Issak Hassan and company is just the beginning of Cord's mistaken plans to get a leeway into forming a grand coalition government after the 2017 elections.

In the past three weeks, the opposition has been staging demonstrations to eject the current commissioners citing chicken gate scandals as the major point of disagreement.
