He said the government's vision to have a national outfit that would build bridges of brotherhood, friendship and unity in the country had been realised under the Jubilee Party.

He asked Kenyans to join hands to form a strong, indivisible and stable country, saying they had the right to be served by government.

"You have a right to be served by your government. The more reason to register, vote and take ownership of the country's affairs. Your country needs your participation,'' he said.

While addressing 'wananchi' at Bukembe, Bungoma County, Ruto told them they had a duty to register and vote.

"We have laid the ground and created an atmosphere for the development of the country. Come out in large numbers and give mandate to the leadership that will represent your interests in the next five years,'' said the Jubilee deputy party leader, Monday.

He was on a voter registration drive tour, where he also met Jubilee Party delegates from western Kenya at Mumias Sports Complex, Kakamega County.
