The DP has been leading charm offensive against the opposition in traditionally Jubilee hostile regions and is behind recent massive defection of legislators to the ruling coalition.

Speaking on Thursday at Gusii stadium, the countries second in command accused the opposition of engaging in negative politics and challenged area residents to vote for Jubilee in 2017.

“As things stand, everyone sees who will win and those who won’t win. Jubilee has delivered to Kenyans in several sectors among them roads and agriculture and I am sure that the people of this great country will give us the second chance,” he said.

“Those who think we can lose to the camp that is full of ‘vitina’ (wrangles) should decamp and join us. ODM died when we decamped and that is a reality. It’s my wish that the Gusii people makes informed decisions and votes us,” he added.

The DP has made numerous trips to the region and is again expected in Nyamira County on 14th this month for a youth conference.
