James Orengo says the opposition outfit NASA has laid strategies that will ensure Jubilee government loses in much anticipated August elections.
Orengo further says Jubilee’s unprecedented attack on NASA principals over a pact that was signed a week ago was out of ‘desperation and panic’.
The Siaya senator who is also a close advisor of opposition leader Raila Odinga was speaking from Mombasa on Tuesday, where his technical committee and opposition leaders are meeting for two days.
“I don’t think so (Jubilee winning]) and never shall that happen. They are a crippling regime in their finals days in office.
“Their attack on us is based on desperation and panic instead of real issues. The kind of revolution that we are seeing, they might even score very little in their own backyard,” added Orengo.
The veteran politician, who will be defending his senate seat, won nominations even without campaigning for longer periods with a landslide in ODM primaries.
And the former University of Nairobi student leader has been credited for spearheading the formation of NASA alliance that would face Jubilee in August.
