Ex-Bonchari MP and Jubilee chief strategist from Gusii region Zebedayo Opore has been challenged to retire from active politics.
A group of political activists from the region now wants Opore, who led for a whopping two decades, to give his successor Oroo Oyioka humble time to serve.
Led by Richard Onkundi a political activist the activists blamed Opore for all stalled projects in the area as he failed to manage Constituency funds while he was in office.
"Opore has been in power for over 20 years and its high time he stops his theatrics he his imposing on current MP and retire from politics" said Onkundi
The activists urged Opore to also withdraw his case from the court of appeal and support the current MPs development agendas.
"We are not happy now that Opore has mover to the court of appeal to challenge high court decision that upheld MP Oroo's win as that will derail the area from getting development" said Onkundi
The activists have been among many other groups that have been pushing for Opore to quit politics and let the current MP Oroo Oyioka deliver his development agendas.
