The National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga says Jubilee leaders have conceded defeat ahead of the August polls.

Odinga said Jubilee had failed to fulfil its promises to Kenyans.

He said he is the Biblical ‘Joshua’ needed to take Kenyans to the Promised Land.

The former Prime Minister said he will work to improve the now ‘bad economy’ in his first 90 days if elected.

Odinga also promised free secondary school education, which Jubilee leader, President Uhuru Kenyatta also pledged yesterday.

“This is what NASA promises, but not the empty promises were given by the Jubilee government in the last five years,” he said

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader was speaking on Thursday in Barwessa and Marigat in Baringo North and South sub-counties.

He accused the President and his deputy William Ruto of tolerating corruption since they ascended to power.

Odinga said Jubilee’s laptop project had failed. He decried the soaring prices of basic commodities such as maize flour and sugar.

The Nasa leader said it was a shame to see Kenyans die of hunger and become displaced in their own country over 50 years after Independence.
