The parties are expected to hold talks to decide the next move concerning the IEBC commissioners who the opposition leaders have accused of being biased and favouring Jubilee.

This is after the formation of a group of 7 members on Wednesday by Cord to hold talks with 7 members from Jubilee to decide on whether IEBC commissioners should vacate office for a new commission to be formed to conduct 2017 elections.

Jubilee leaders had firm stands that IEBC commissioners will leave office by law but the opposition leaders pushed the government by anti-IEBC protests that led to many supporters injured countrywide.

On the other hand, Cord insisted that the current IEBC commissioners should leave office after which they lack transparency, they are corrupt and seem to be in favour of Jubilee leadership, something the opposition leaders claim the commissioners should not have done as per the constitution.
