(Photo/Nation)The Economic Freedom Party has taken up the leadership of all the 14 assembly committees in Mandera County assembly, leaving Jubilee dissatisfied.EFP members met on Monday in the absence of their Jubilee colleagues and agreed on the selection of the chairpersons and vice chairpersons.The leader of Minority Jimale Abdi Hassan said Jubilee will not recognize the selected committee leadership. Governor Ali Roba of Jubilee is facing hard times at the assembly since he lost numbers to the opponents.Roba has urged the opponents to drop party politics and concentrate on service delivery to the people saying the political wrangles will derail development in the county. EFP MCAs walked out of the assembly in September when Roba opened the House officially.Last week he accused the EFP members of rejecting nominees for the county executive posts.He, however, vowed to forward the same list of nominees to the assembly for approval.
