Former Olkejuado County Council chairman Tarayia ole Kores has ditched the Jubilee Party for the Opposition.
Speaking on Sunday in Kajiado West, Korea announced that he has no business with Jubilee and will instead be drumming up support for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga and all NASA candidates in Kajiado.
Kores was gunning for the Kajiado gubernatorial seat but lost the Jubilee Party ticket to Joseph Ole Lenku during the primaries.
He later fell out with the ruling party alongside Senator Peter Mositet who accused top Jubilee leaders of rigging them out.
"I thank all Iloodokilani people for the votes you gave me during the failed Jubilee Party nominations. We really wanted the seat as Iloodokilani people, but the Deputy President and the Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery joined hands to ensure I don't get the ticket," he noted.
"I won with more than 18,000 votes and Mositet also won with more than 40,000 votes," he added.Kores' exit from Jubilee is a win for NASA considering that he is politically influential among the Maa Community.
