President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party has set aside Saturday, May 6, special for his endorsement.

Party delegates will convene at the Bomas of Kenya, to endorse his candidature, for the president post, in the August 8, elections.

Secretary general, Raphael Tuju, in a statement seen by the Star, said all the 19 interim party officials from across the counties, had been invited.

Other invited guests include Jubilee Party governors, Members of Parliament, senators, Members of County Assembly, members of the National Governing Council, as well as newly nominated party aspirants.

"The national delegates convention shall be convened on May 6 at the Bomas of Kenya," Tuju said in part, in the statement, Thursday.The convention will happen a day after Uhuru's rival, ODM party leader Raila Odinga, is endorsed by the party delegates.

The Orange party holds its national delegates convention, to endorse Raila, as the Nasa presidential flag-bearer, Friday 5, at the Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani, Nairobi.
