Jubilee Secretary-General Raphael Tuju dismissed a photo doing rounds on social media platforms showing party headquarters being scaled down and unbranded.
Tuju has assured supporters that the Pangani headquarters are still intact.
“JUBILEE PARTY HQ at Pangani has neither been unbranded nor has the party vacated the building. Treat anything else as sorry busybody rumours or better pay us a visit and confirm! #TukoPamoja for the long haul!” read a tweet in the official Jubilee Twitter account.Several social media users had on Saturday posted a picture showing crews removing the Jubilee Party symbol which had been superimposed on the glass exterior of the eight-storey building located near the Pangani underpass along Thika Road.
The picture showed the colours of the Jubilee photo being pulled down by a crane.
The secretary General affirmed that Jubilee party is still housed in the building which acted as the nerve center of President Kenyatta re-election campaign.The building stationed political strategists, data analysts, researchers and call centre employees who gave real time updates on the campaign progress.
