Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos has urged Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba to join the newly launched Jubilee Party.
Tolgos told his Nzoia counterpart that Jubilee Party is still open for him to join.
“Hon Khaemba, Jubilee doors are still open for you to join us,” Said Tolgos.
He cited that his close ties with Jubilee should now turn out to joining the newly formed party.
“You are among the leaders who have been working closely with Jubilee and it is time for you to join us so that we can work together,”added Tolgos.
Tolgos said Rift Valley is Jubilee-coded region and Trans Nzoia is part of Rift Valley thus not an exception.
He urged leaders in the region who were eyeing different posts to do so under Jubilee Party.
Tolgos was speaking in Cherangany Constituency during a thanks-giving service to celebrate the graduation of former Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo who graduated with a PhD in Sociology.
Khaemba was elected under Ford Kenya ticket.
