Jubilee key strategist Washington Makodingo has drafted a Bill that seeks to rid Luo Nyanza counties of Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori from Kenya.
Makodingo has said Article 5 of the constitution needs to be amended to redefine the country's territory and exclude the four counties.
He also demanded the creation of Kuria county that will consist of Kuria East and Kuria West constituencies.
Important to note is that the targetted constituencies in these four counties which Makodingo wants removed did participate in the repeat presidential poll of October 26.
"During this election, residents of four of the 47 counties heeded calls by their leaders to boycott and disrupt elections in most constituencies," the strategist argues.
He argues that residents in these counties have "continually expressed their wish to be excluded from the territory of Kenya".
"The objective of this Bill is, therefore, to amend the constitution to grant these residents their wish by excluding them from the territory of the Republic of Kenya," he said.
If the Bill goes through, Kisumu county's North West Ward in which Maseno is located will go back to Vihiga County.
His Bill comes just a day after Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma drafted another secession Bill seeking to divide the country into the People's Republic and the Central Republic.
