Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has claimed that Jubilee administration is once again trying to frustrate him after his attempt to file tax returns with Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) failed.

Joho said he has been trying to file his tax returns since Wednesday and every time he gets 'the user is cancelled' error message.

The Mombasa governor also claimed that his KRA pin has been blocked making it hard for him to file his returns, he also said his brothers are also experiencing the same difficulty.

"No amount of intimidation and arm twisting will change my course in politics," said Joho through county director of communication Richard Chacha.

"The Jubilee administration has fought me and my family from all angles. If this is the price I have to pay fordefending my people and speaking the truth, so be it,” he added.

In a quick rejoinder KRA Southern region senior assistant communication commissioner Fatma Yusuf said they cannot comment on the matter since it will be an infringement to Joho's privacy.

“If KRA has an issue with the Governor, we shall approach him as a person. We cannot divulge any information regardinghis KRA pin status, unless it is through a court order,” she told the Star on phone.
