Deputy President William Ruto has urged the Kamba community to support the Jubilee government since its leadership is aimed at uniting Kenyans.
Ruto urged the Kamba community not to be misled by the opposition leaders politically and give support to the Jubilee government for the sake of development.
Speaking in Makueni County on Tuesday, Ruto urged the Kamba community to pray for former deputy president, Kalonzo Musyoka so that he does not join the opposition in streets to protests. He said that it is shameful to see Kalonzo sitting on the road protesting in the anti- IEBC protests.
"Cord has no agenda for Kenyans. Jubilee leadership is determined to benefit everyone. I know the Kamba community supported the opposition in 2013 but come 2017, I urge you to support Jubilee, “said Ruto.
The remarks by the deputy president clearly show how Jubilee government is aiming at the Ukambani votes so as to get voted back in come 2017 elections.
