[Photo/ nation.co.ke]Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has warned Coast residents against voting for NASA leader Raila Odinga in the repeat presidential election slated for October 26.Speaking on Wednesday during a Jubilee rally in Malomani, Mvurya argued that the opposition has not done little for the Coast region.Mvurya said the region has been voting for Raila for a very long time but has not benefited in any way especially in terms of development."I know most of you voted for NASA in the August 8 election. However, what has supporting the opposition coalition done for you?" asked Mvurya."Just vote for Uhuru to enjoy the fruits of development,” he added.Mvurya who has been spearheading President Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaigns in Kwale asked residents to support the Jubilee administration, adding that the move will ensure they benefit from various development projects."When you vote for President Kenyatta, you empower me with the right and confidence to ask for more for you. If you don't, you deflate me before the Head of State who has shown a lot of love for us,” added Mvurya.Mvurya also held campaigns in Lunga Lunga, Ndavaya, Pemba, Bofu and Kafuduni.The Governor was re-elected on a Jubilee Party ticket after ditching Raila Odinga’s ODM Party.
