[Photo|Kiraitu Murungi]Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi joined President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto in paying final respects to the departed AIPCA bishops Moses M'Eruri, Phillip Kubai and Stanley Karuru at the Maili Tatu stadium in Igembe Central Sub-County.The three perished in a road accident in Embu.Kubai, chairman of bishops synod from Ntonyiri Diocese, Ntoreruri of Igembe Diocese and Bishop Kalulu from Igembe Central Diocese were killed in a crash at Mutithi at night, late last month.President Kenyatta mourned three bishops of the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) who lost their lives along the Embu-Mwea road.On noting disorder that had prevailed on Kenyan roads, leading to fatal accidents that have claimed thousands of lives, Uhuru recalled all NTSA officers reverting the responsibility of maintaining order on Kenyan roads to the traffic police department."On my own behalf and that of the County Government of Meru, may God grant their souls eternal peace, while comforting the families that have been left behind," he said and supported the president's order to NTSA.
